It had just rained.

It had just rained.
The rains are starting to take hold. Hopefully they will stay for a while longer.
It was a late afternoon Sunday evening in November. I was lurking the garden looking to take pictures of birds when I realized this capture of forks would be enough of a reward. There are magical times for capturing good photography; they are early morning and late afternoon. Autumn in California is not as colorful as you would find in may other regions of the United State, but the muted colors do provide a great backdrop.
On a misty morning, I woke up to see this rose bush with a good amount of morning dew. It looked like it had rained overnight, but this moisture was solely from the morning foggy conditions. We are currently suffering from drought conditions in California, so I guess I should be happy for any moisture evening if it’s just a misty morning dew.
